Sell a dummy
In the picture above, a person is carrying two bags of goldfishes.
Look at it carefully.
YES. THE GOLDFISHES ARE FAKE.
IT IS JUST TWO PLASTIC BAGS WITH THE PICTURES OF GOLDFISH.
I was almost feinted by the pictures, they look so real.
Feint, a French term that entered English via the the discipline of fencing. Feints are maneuvers designed to distract or mislead, done by giving the impression that a certain maneuver will take place, while in fact another, on even none, will.
Plastic bags are common, in our daily life. Despite its harmfulness to the environment, we all need it in our life, it is easy, super convenient.
When we buy products from a store, from a brand, we will receive a plastic bags that printed with their certain trademarks and logos to carry our purchases. That's also a way to significant their brand, that's a marking strategy.
Apart from that, plastic bags also serve a purpose that we adore.
Why do i say that? Now, think. What are the colors of a common plastic bags in your mind?
They can be black, yellow, white, purple, and so many colors and designs but NOT TRANSPARENT, normally.
Things that we carry are unlikely to be known by the others. AGREE?
Humans love to disguise. They like things under cover, being exposed meaning showing their weaknesses. So they dissemble, they conceal, it's a human nature: to hide.
With that state of mind, creative people created different kinds of plastic bags, so it's not a plain, boring appearance anymore.
You can't tell from the picture above what is that person actually carrying don't you?
Neither do i. I can only assume he/she is just carrying some garbage, walking down the street.
So, the idea is actually working.
Create things to serve people's needs.
I can't tell whether it is actually good, or bad.
But who cares? At least IT WORKS.
:P
